After posting the last post, I have discovered a few more useful iPhone tips to share! For example, wanna use Skype on your phone? Or how about play a beautiful yet haunting instrument?
Skype & IMs
Officially, there is yet to be a Skype app for the iPhone. However, there is an app called Fring which allows you to access many different IMs (ex. AIM) in one place.. as well as including access to Skype and other SIM networks! As of this post I have not tried calling anyone yet, but it should work! Give it a try. 
Ocarina
I had never heard of this instrument before, but now I love it! This beautiful thing is like a type of flute or whistle, and is often ceramic, but can be made from other materials. And now it’s also an app for your iPhone! Check out YouTube for examples. I highly recommend this app!
And in other news, my hubby is finally getting his iPhone! 
Update: I forgot to mention Emoji! Not everyone will care about this, but it’s a super-cute huge set of emoticons and icons. Apparently it was an Apple update included in the 2.2 firmware, but it was only readily available to the Japanese iPhone users. Well, with a quick fix downloaded in Cydia, you can also use it! Just go to Cydia and search for Emoji. Install that app, and you’re good to go!

Okay, the iPhone is a fun little toy and I’ve spent quite a few hours tweaking it to be my personalized all-in-one gadget. It’s pretty easy to do, but I had to do a lot of Google-ing to find everything I wanted. I figured, why not put down the things I felt most important in one spot so that others can benefit from it? Especially since my husband will be getting his iPhone soon and it’ll be easier to just check here to help him set it up.

Well it’s a new year and a new blog. I’ve returned to the blogging world because I’ve got a new toy that may make it easier to keep updated. Yes, I entered the world of the iPhone! This thing has got to be one of the coolest gadgets ever! Right now I’m watching Trading Spouses while quickly thumb-typing this post.
There’s so much this phone can do! I have a pink theme on the phone with a Sumomo background (mini “laptop” robot from Chobits) and a Sailormoon outer senshi theme ringtone. I even have a pink case for this now!
I can send emails, check Facebook, send pictures to Flickr, surf the Internet, make lists & notes, look for recipes, watch YouTube, read ebooks, listen to music, keep track of eBay auctions, play games (including emulated systems), get directions via Google maps & GPS, and so much more!! It’s truly revolutionary! Or, at least, nifty as hell!
